Satisfaction & stability

We constantly measure our performance in order to remain sharp and focused on our core mission: Delivering the best service to our passengers.

Passenger satisfaction

In 2023, 97% of the passengers on the M1/M2 line were pleased with their most recent trip, while the score for the M3/M4 line was 98%

The passengers' satisfaction with us and our work with operating, servicing and maintaining the metro is the foundation of our collaboration with Metroselskabet, who owns the Copenhagen Metro.

The research company Megafon conducts a monthly satisfaction analysis on behalf of Metroselskabet, which we use in our work.

The analysis is based on at least 1,000 personal interviews with passengers in the metro, which are conducted every quarter. The goal is that more than 80% of the respondents are 'satisfied' or 'very satisfied'.

Operational stability

In 2023, 99.2% of the departures on the M1/M2 line ran on time, while the figure was 99.5% for the M3/M4 line.

The operational stability of the metro is absolute key. We measure every day if we meet our target of being on time 98% of the time.

The Copenhagen Metro does not run according to a classic timetable, but with fixed intervals between trains. Operational stability is therefore calculated by dividing the day into three-minute intervals, after which the number of scheduled departures is measured against the number of actual departures.
