Diversity and inclusion

Metro Service is a workplace where everyone belongs. We believe that diversity is a strength, and we value different perspectives and competencies. That is why we actively work to foster a culture that is inclusive, respectful, and reflective of the society in which we operate.

As part of our ambition to be an attractive and responsible employer, we work to promote diversity in our recruitment processes, increase female representation in leadership positions, ensure equal access to training and development opportunities, and equip our leaders with the skills needed to manage diverse teams.

We take part in the international Pride Month, which is celebrated every year in June. During this period, we place a special focus on diversity and the inclusion of LGBT+ people through a range of initiatives. Among other things, passengers may notice our stewards and light rail drivers wearing rainbow pins on their uniforms. Internally, we also use the occasion to learn more about our differences and discuss how we can become an even more inclusive workplace with equal opportunities for everyone.
