Working in the Control Room
The employees in the Metro's control room ensure the traffic runs as planned and are responsible for informing passengers and other personnel about the operational status of the Metro.
Always in control
The Copenhagen Metro runs 24 hours a day - all year round and the control room is manned during those same hours.
You'll meet three types of employees in the control room: Traffic controller, passenger information operator (PIO) and control room supervisor.
They come from very different backgrounds, and they have all gone through internal training at Metro Service before taking a seat in the control room.
