Corporate Social Responsibility

CSR plays an important role at Metro Service as we firmly believe we can make public transport more sustainable for our customers in Copenhagen.

Because it matters

Our world is undergoing constant change and many major events have happened in recent years. With climate change, geopolitical tensions, a pandemic, inflation and cyber attacks, the world is evolving at a rapid pace, requiring us to act and adapt like never before.

Environment:

The metro runs on electricity, which is responsible for most of our CO2 emission. Therefore, Metro Service aims to minimise energy consumption within our core activities.

All our service vehicles run on electricity, and we are in the process of replacing lights with LED lights or converting to a solution with lower energy consumption.

Social:

We emphasise the importance of diversity and actively incorporate recognised international human and labour rights to promote a diverse workplace with equal opportunities for all employees.

Our goal is to create a workplace where all employees thrive. Metro Service remains committed to implementing measures that promote the growth, well-being and contribution of our employees.

Governance:

We constantly strive to deepen our understanding of sustainability risks, opportunities and impacts across our entire value chain.

Our Supplier Code of Conduct sets out our expectations for our suppliers and business partners including the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact. We hold our suppliers accountable to the same standards of environmental and social responsibility as we do ourselves.

Metro Service maintains a zero tolerance policy towards corruption, bribery and unethical practices. We consider the prevention of corruption as a shared responsibility for all our employees.
