Steward at Metro Service

Our goal is always to provide our passengers with the best possible journey - without compromising on safety. Passenger satisfaction is therefore the front and centre of our guidelines and the training we give our stewards.

Steward at Metro Service

The stewards are present among the passengers in the Metro. They help and guide passengers to a comfortable and safe travelling experience, and they can drive the metro trains manually if ever in need.

Our many stewards in the Metro come from very different backgrounds - culturally and educationally. We have former shop assistants, bankers and pedagogues amongst our stewards. What they all have in common is a highly developed sense of service and joy of being in contact with many people during the day.

Training and requirements:

In order to become a steward, you need to complete a 10-12 week training course including a number of tests that must be passed in order to complete the course. It's not possible to take time off during the training course, but you will receive full pay during the entire period.

During the course you will be trained in customer service, violence prevention guidelines, communication, ticketing and general service. In addition, our future stewards will learn about railway safety and driving metro trains.

In order to become a steward in the Metro, you need to:
